This year, we’ve installed 5 new water refill stations in local communities around Cornwall as part of our ongoing mission to protect the planet and reduce plastic waste in our environments.
These installations make it easier than ever for people to refill their reusable bottles with free, fresh drinking water while they’re on the move.
The sites include:
- Callywith College, Bodmin
- Northam Burrows Country Park, Torridge Town Council
- Langstone Harbour – Funded by SeaChangers Coastal Fund
- New Polzeath car park
- Porth Beach, Newquay
The purpose of a water refill station is simple but powerful: it helps cut down on single-use plastic bottles, encourages younger generations to reuse (not re-buy!), keeping plastic out of our rivers, beaches, and oceans. Every refill plays a small part in helping us save our environments.
